John Adams Mack, 69, of Rt. 1, Maynard, died in Randolph County Hospital, Thursday of last week (1968). Mr. Mack was born March 6, 1899 in Randolph County, a son of the late Sol and Barbara Penn Mack. Mr. Mack is survived by his wife, Mrs. Zena Mack of the home; 2 daughters, Mrs. Viola Cook of Pocahontas and Mrs. Leola Riles of St. Louis, Mo.; 4 sons, Vernon and Finis Mack of St. Louis; Jay Mack of Des Arc and Wilburn Mack of Troy, Mo.; 1 brother, Silas Mack of Galesburg, Ill.; 3 sisters, Mrs. Ethel Riney, and Mrs. Claris Lindsey of Abbington, Ill., and Mrs. Carrie Milam of Stokes. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Pyburn Street Church of Christ with Jerry Shaw and Cecil Wilson officiating. Interment followed in Brockett Cemetery under direction of McNabb Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Amon Buxton, Robbie Milam, Ervin Davis, Percy Ellis, Rufe Akins, and Estell Harris.
