JOHN A. MALUM, G.A.R., of Eustis, was born February 28, 1830 in Norway, died December 9, 1905, and was buried Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis. He married first, about 1866, Mary E. (mnu) born about 1840 in Pennsylvania and died before 1880. He married second, about 1871, Martha J. (mnu) McComb, born June 1829 in Virginia.

Resident of Cylon, St. Croix County, Wisconsin, John served as Private in Company I, 51st Infantry Regiment Wisconsin, a month before the war ended. (1 April, 1865 - 6 May, 1865) He applied for a Federal pension in Florida, January 1900, no cert.
