John Marker was the son of George Marker and his wife Anna Mohler Marker of Frederick County, Maryland. He married Elizabeth Wertenbaker in Washington County, Maryland.
Another researcher (daisywingert@gmail.com)provided additional information for John, stating that he served in his brother, Captain Daniel Marker's Detachment as a Private. Captain Daniel Marker, my fifth great-grandfather is also buried in this cemetery.
Daisy also stated that John's daughter Susan son John and wife and two sons are buried in the Christian Cemetery.
