John McLish, Maj.

Belonged to the "Imatoklachellasha" house. I can find NO documentation that he was married to anyone name Celia Colbert or Sukey Colbert. In fact, several witnesses to a tribal application state that, in addition to Judie Barnes, he married a Cheadle woman and a Dyer woman.

• May, 1815 - Andrew Jackson writes he's staying at the McLishes on Buffalo River.
• 1816 - John receives land in the Chickasaw treaty.
• November, 1828 - mentioned in Peter Pitchlynn's diary.
• July 28, 1838, Pontotoc County, Mississippi - land purchase
