11 February 1531-32: Charter by James V to John Makalestar of Casteltirrim, of the 27 merk lands of Moydort and others, lying within the sheriffdom of Invernys, held by the late Alan Makrorm, grandfather of the above John, in heritage (although the charters and evidents have been destroyed), to be held of the Crown in fee and heritage, for the services of ward, relief and marriage, prohibiting the giving of homage to anyone else without consent. Witnesses: Gavin, Archbishop of Glasgow, Chancellor, and others. At Edinburgh. Seal lost.
