John Lockhart Neily

NEILY, John Lockhart –age 94 of Middleton, NS passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 in the Veterans Unit at Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Middleton, he was a son of the late Carmen and Bessie (Lockhart) Neily. John was a retired school teacher and taught Industrial Arts at McDonald Consolidated School, Middleton Regional High School and at Dwight Ross School. He was a proud member of the Middleton Legion, life member for 73 years, making him the oldest awarded member in Nova Scotia. In his retirement years he enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing, and camping.
