About John Newton N Slack
I have been trying to get in touch with Slack researchers in the Charleston and Huntington, WV areas. My grandmother was a Slack and lived in Meigs County, OH. Her father was John Newton Slack who was born near Charleston. He moved to Ohio in the 1880s, we believe. Many of his relatives remained in WV. I would love to trace the family back farther and to share information with others. I have photos of some of the WV Slacks. I can be reached at rbloss@clover.net.
