John "Poppa John" Nohava , 72, of Morrison, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle passed away peacefully in the comfort of family and friends June 23, 2006. Poppa John was born January 17, 1934 in Londsdale [Lonsdale], Minnesota, graduated from Bethlehem Academy, and served with great pride in the United States Navy. After raising his family in Chicago, Illinois, he moved to the Rocky Mountain State in 1984 and enjoyed many years of hunting, fishing and exploring the mountains with his family and friends.

Poppa John was preceded in death by his wife Joan and is survived by his loving son John Michael along with his wife Barbara, daughter Peggy, daughter-in-law Lisa, grandchildren Nicole, Jennifer, Samantha, Anne Marie, and Michael along with many other family and dear friends.

A memorial service celebrating Poppa John will be held at Light of the World Catholic Church, Littleton, June 27, 11:00 AM and at Good Council on the hill, Mankato, Minnesota, July 6.
