John Ohren

The tree above John Ohren is merely speculative. Peter and Anna Maria Steinhaus had a child Johann in Germany on 29 June 1850. They journeyed over to America in September of 1852 through New York. There are two Wilhelms recorded in the passenger list traveling with Peter, one listed as being 3 or 4 years of age the other 20 years of age. The older Wilhelm is accounted for as William Ohren. The younger is not, however, records do show John Ohren in the same county and town as Peter and Maria (Mary) and roughly the same age.
