1735-1743 King George County Deed Book 2 (Antient Press) pp. 6-7 Indenture made 11th May 1735 between JOHN OWENS of King George County & ELLINOR his wife late Widdow & relict of ROBERT GOLLOP late of King George County deced of one part and GEORGE JAMES of County Stafford of other part .. Whereas Robert Gollop in his life time during the coverture between him & Elinor .. seized of tract in King George granted unto BRYAN FOLEY & him by deed from Proprietor's 24th February MDCCXIV/XV wherein the said Elinor is by Law intituled to her Dower .. upon death of Robert Gollop ..' land to be vested in his four Daughters vizt. Mary, Anne, Elinor & Phillis .. three of whom with JAMES BRISSEE, RICHARD ELKINS & ROBERT DUNCOM their several husbands sold to said George James ..
