John Paine born about 1649, was the son of William Paine and his unknown first wife.[1]

John married first Abigail Brockett in about 1673 at New Haven, CT - parents of John, Abigail, Elizabeth, Josiah, William, Samuel, Mary, James & Israel[1]

After the death of wife Abigail he married Mary Little, daughter of Richard & Joan (Walker) Little, about 1699 at New Haven, New Haven, CT - their children were William, Ann, Nathaniel, Ann (again), Hannah, Mary, Hannah (again), Joanna & Deborah Payne[1]

Here Lyeth ye Body of Mr. John Payn who died July ye 4th 1729 aged 80 years.
