Willow Green has historic significance for its connection to the early European settlement of the Irwin District, in particular to the Cattle Company. The two stone buildings have significance for their connection to the fmr. Milo Inn and demonstrate an innovative use of construction materials.Pascoe family.

Physical Description
There are two stone buildings located to the east and west of the entrance road of the property which are believed to have been constructed from stone brought from the site of the Milo Inn. The building to the east is rectangular, has no roof, and three openings to the front facade. The building to the west has a low pitch corrugated iron gable roof, a large entrance to the east side and a small central entry door to the north. Originally part of the Cattle Company leasehold, the tillage lease of Victoria Location 1378 was granted to John Menhennet Pascoe, c1871 who named it 'Willow Green' after the Pascoe family farm in Mylor, Cornwall. The location was farmed by William James Pascoe who built a small cottage and shed on the property. Ownership passed to Christina Pascoe (John Pascoe’s daughter) then in c1909 the property was sold to Francis Pearse. In 1942 the property belonged to I.C. Burges.
