: John Page the Elder married Katherine (Unknown), possibly at Baughing, Hertfordshire, England. <ref name="TAG73">New Light on the English Ancestry of William Chandler and of his cousin Margaret Chandler, wife of William Dennison, both of Roxbury, Massachusetts, TAG Vol 73 (Jan 1998), pages 50 - 57</ref> Sometime after 1645 they removed to Puckeridge, Hertfordshire. <ref name="TAG73"/> "John Page appeared on the 1545 subsidy at Braughing, co. Hertford, where he was assessed 5s, 4d." <ref name="TAG73"/>
: John Page left a will dated 4 March 1555/6, proved 5 May 1556. <ref name="TAG73"/> In it he calls himself "John Page the elder of Pokerigge" [Puckeridge]. <ref name="TAG73"/> He leaves, among others, bequests to his grandchildren "Thomas, Joane, Marye and Elizabeth Danyell", and bequests to "Thobye, Raphaell, and Barbara Chandler" and his "sonne-in-lawe Thomas Chaundeler". <ref name="TAG73"/> John leaves property and goods to his wife Katherine. <ref name="TAG73"/> : In 1561, widow Katherine Page, and Thomas Chandler and Joan his wifeconveyed messuages and lands in Puckeridge, Standon and Baughing in county Hertford by fine to John Warde. <ref name="TAG73"/> The subsequent history of Katherine Page is unknown. <ref name="TAG73"/>
