Biography
1 John Pray Junior 1680-1751 John is the first great-grandchild of Chad Browne and first grandchild of John Browne. At age 33 John married in Attleborough Bristol MA Bay Colony on 14 July 1713 according to MA Town Clerk and Vital Town Records 1626-2001. I wonder why he married late in life. He died at age 38 in Scituate Providence RI Colony 2 June 1751.
He married Sarah Downing born 1661 Providence County Rhode Island. She died age 57-58 in 1739 and was buried or lost at sea. She was 19 years younger than her husband. John and Sarah Downing Pray had one son, per 1924 book "Old Gravestones of Dutchess County New York" J. Wilson Poucher, M.D.; Dutchess County Historical Society; volume II. Book OCLC Number: 1305676, and according to Find a Grave. 1
