About John Rogers
John Rogers was a farmer and lived on his father's homestead at Long Reach, Kittery. On 4 May 1705, he was wounded in an Indian attack, but later recovered. He was a prominent citizen in Kittery and served frequently on the jury and grand jury. His will, dated March 1747, names his wife Hannah, his sons George and John Rogers, and his daughters Hannah Fernald, Mary Godsoe, Margaret Libby, and Keziah Hanscom. He died in June 1747 and his estate was probated on 6 July 1747.
