Saddler's Chapel Methodist was establish about a hundred years ago (1886).
The older records bunred many years ago. They still meet in the original building which has been renovated.
The land for the church and cemetery was given by John Sadler. He, along with his neighbors, donated the lumber for the church house and constructed it. The Saddler family descendants have composed the main part of the membership since its composition. Some of the Wilsons have also been faithful members. They have about 40 members at present with Reverend Earl Davis as pastor.

Every year, on the second Sunday of the month of September, the descendants of Jasper Sam Sadler sponser a family reunion at Sadler's Chapel. Descendants of John Wesley Sadler attend this family reunion and enjoy barbecue with a large buffet. Harlin Sadler has been financing this event for many years.
