About John Wesley Sadler

John Wesley Sadler, SADLER, Jno W., J W, John W.

Saddler's Chapel Methodist was establish about a hundred years ago (1886).

The older records bunred many years ago. They still meet in the original building which has been renovated.

The land for the church and cemetery was given by John Sadler. He, along with his neighbors, donated the lumber for the church house and constructed it. The Saddler family descendants have composed the main part of the membership since its composition. Some of the Wilsons have also been faithful members. They have about 40 members at present with Reverend Earl Davis as pastor.
