John Seyton or “de St. Liz”, Esq., of Martinsthorpe

John de Seyton, John Seton, John de St. Liz

John was born about 1390 in Maidwell, Northamptonshire, England, the son of sir John de Seyton and Joan Longueville.

His wife was Jane Bellers. They were married, but the date and place have not been found.

Their children included Agnes (1430-?).

Though the pedigree of the Seytons given in the visitation of Northamptonshire shows that John Seyton had a son Thomas and three grandsons, Martinsthorpe is said to have passed to William Feilding by his marriage with Agnes, daughter and heir of John de St. Liz or de Seyton
