John Daniel Shearer

John graduated Venice Senior High School in 1956 and shortly after entered the Navy He was schooled as an Communications Technician Interpeter as a Russian and Romanian languist. He served in severial areas of the world including the USS Jamestown during the Vietnam War. Retiering from the Navy after 20 years in 1976, he worked in Denver a short period and moved with his parents to Bruner, Missouri. He was the caregiver to his father and mother until their deaths. John researched, compiled and published "An Outline On The Family Of Christian Shearer Sr., And His Wife Sarah." 1990
