He was 3/4ths Cherokee Indian.
He can to Leslie County, Kentucky in 1817. A settled at the mouth of Rockc astle Creek, now Hyden.
The book "Rugged Trail to Appalachia" by Mary T. Brewer, published in 19 78 states on pages 131 and 132 "In 1778 George All and Agnes lived in t he Shenandoah Valley in Virginia where Edward was born. Later they settl ed in what is now Leslie County, owning most of the land opposite the to wn of Hyden. This land was later owned by a son, John and wife, Nancy. w ho built the first permanent home there...Nancy was a daughter of John a nd Martha (Jefferson) Bowling. According to the Dickey Diary, Martha w as a sister of President Thoma Jefferson, but according to John Asher s he was a niece."
Came to Leslie County, Kentucky in 1817. He settled in the mouth of Rock H ouse Creek now called Hyden, Kentucky.
Buried: In the cemetery behind the Presbyterian Church at Hyden.
