GEDCOM Note
John's father was a Swedish immigrant, and his mother was the oldest child of Swedish immigrants. He was a hard-working, fun-loving Swede. He worked on the Fort Peck and Shasta Dams, and was a successful mechanic. He had huge, strong, fingers.
John lived 93 healthy years. His father Martin had lived 96. My personal notes show his birth in Hazelton [Township], near Lancaster, Minnesota. This would make sense, as his parents' farm was in Hazelton Township.
My personal notes also show him living in Fargo before moving to Hallock.
These notes were from discussions with his wife Cora.
