John Swan died before 6th June 1841 as Catherine was a widow at the time of the 1841 Census.
He probably married Catherine McDonough on 28 Sept. 1794 - the dates fit.
There is a burial recorded for a John Swan aged 45 of Nettleton Court - age 45 years on 16 June 1818 - St. Botolph without Aldgate which is where his children were baptised between 1795 and 1812. John and Catherine's address was given as Sharps Buildings , Rosemary Lane in1795, Sharps Buildings in 1796 and 1798; Rosemary Lane in 1800, 1804 and 1806; Sharps Buildings in 1808, 1810 and 1812.
This burial suggests a birth year of 1773 which would be OK
