25 August 1626: Contract between John Symontoune, laird of Symontoune of that ilk, and William Gordoune, apparent of Grange, whereby said John, for tocherguid of Margaret Dunbar, now spouse of said William, discharges all claim he can have on mansion house of Mochrum Park in parish of Mochrum, and promises to infeft said William in 5 merkland of Challochglas under reversion.
