Obituary: John P. Tempski, 78, died at 1AM today at his home in Independence. He was born June 7, 1880 in Buffalo County, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leo Tempski. He is survived by his wife, Sophia Pyka; three sons; Hyacinth, Arcadia; Alex, Eau Claire; and Raymond, Independence; two daughters; Mrs. Louis (Rosie) Lyga, Independence; and Mrs. Clara Kampa, Winona; three sisters; Helen, Gustie and Mary, Alhambra, CA; and six grandchildren. Funeral services were Tuesday at 9AM at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the Rt. Rev. Lucian J. Kufel officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

INDEPENDENCE, Wis. (Special) John T. Tempski, 78, died at 1 a.m. today at his home here.
He was born June 7, 1880, in Buffalo County, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leon Tempski.
He is survived by his wife, the former Sophia Pyka; three sons, Hyacinth, Arcadia; Alex, Eau Claire, and Raymond, Independence; two daughters, Mrs. Louis (Rosie) Lyga, Independence, and Mrs. Clara Kampa, Winona; three sisters, Helen, Gustie and Mary, Alhambra, Calif., and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. at St. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Lucian J. Kufel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the M.A. Wiemer Funeral Home. The Rosary will be said Sunday and Monday at 8 p.m.
