[1] John Taylor was born on the 7th of January, His parents were John Taylor and Abigail Hodges.[2]

He married first Sarah Horswell on the 31st of Mary, 1716 in Little Compton, Newport, Rhode Island. Together they had a daughter named Elizabeth Taylor who was born in 1717.[3]

Sarah Horswell passed away in 1719.[4]

He married secondly Johanna Wilbore on the 29th of December, 1719 in Little Compton, Newport, Rhode Island. Together they had 12 children.

John Taylor passed away in 25 June 1762 in Little Compton, Newport, Rhode Island.

John's will is dated 17 June 1762 and proved on 7 Jul 1762 in Little Compton, Rhode Island. His inventory was recorded on 7 Jul 1762. His date of death is recorded in the heading of the inventory.[5]
