John Tomlinson

John Tomlinson , son of Jonas, 2 {Henry, 1 ) 

Married Hannah Tomlinson, married March 27, 1712,

Married his cousin, Elizabeth, daughter of Lieut. Thomas Wooster and his wife, Phebe (Tomlinson) Wooster.

He was a farmer in Derby, Ct., and died in November, 1756, aged 70 years.

The birth of six of his children is found on the Derby town records ;

the other names, Benjamin and Isaac, are found, in his will. In the distribution of his estate in 1756 his children, Phebe, Bathsheba and Hezekiah, are not mentioned.

II. Bathsheba, 4 born Dec. 24, 1714. 

III. JOSEPH,' born Dec. 27, 1716.+ 

IV. ELIZABETH, 4 born Dec. 9, 1720, and she married Joseph Twitchell, of Derby, Dec. 6, 1738. 

     She died Feb. 7, 1787, aged 67 years. 

V. Hezekiah, 4 baptized Oct., 1722.

VI. Abigail, 4 born July 18, 1723 ; married Elias Davis, of Derby. 

VII. John, 4 born Sept. 23, 1725.+

VIII. Benjamin. 4 His brother John became his guardian in 1756. 

IX. Isaac. 4 His brother Joseph became his guardian in 1756.
