John Walls, secundus

JOHN WALLS secundus (1868-99)

is the son of John Walls of Easter Greenigoe, and his wife, Mary Firth. He was born at Kirkwall in Orkney, Scotland, on 10 December 1868 [Scotland, Births and Baptisms, 1564-1950, index, FamilySearch] https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/FQXC-3V4 and died on 4 January 1889. He was drowned in Keppel Bay, Rockhampton, Australia [Memorial Inscription in the Kirkyard of St. Magnus's Cathedral in Kirkwall, Orkney].

In loving memory of Mary Firth, wife of John Walls, who died 25th June 1905, aged 69 years, and John Walls, their son, who drowned in Keppel Bay, Rockhampton, Australia, on 4th January 1889, aged 20 years. The above John Walls, died 9th June 1906, aged 67 years. Also, John Walls, grandson of the above, died 29th December 1914, aged 19 years [Memorial Inscription in the Kirkyard of St. Magnus's Cathedral].
