Appointed steward to Thomas Seymour, 1st Baron Sudeley (brother of Jane Seymour, third wife of Henry VIII (m 1536) and therefore uncle to King Edward VI). Thomas Seymour married Henry VIII's widow, Queen Catherine Parr and was executed on Tower Hill in 1549.
