About John Luther Warner
Notes from Sally (Sarah Amelia Waner) Vogel - September 1993:
He taught Sunday School in Yeagertown, Pennsylvania for many years and i could see him and his class from where I was in my class downstairs.
Dad had a business in Yeagertown. At first he and his workers constructed buggies and his partner, James Lesher, painted the buggies in the shop.
Coming to Fontana in 1923, Dad had a couple of jobs locally for a while, but really thought about returning to PA. Mother thought we should stay a while and so we did. Dad raised laying hens, turkeys, and then Dad and Art bought a vineyard on Valley Blvd., and for a while, Dad sold grapes and grape juice there.
