John Wash, Jr. was a son of John Wash Sr., Revolutionary Soldier He died about 1844 in Lewis county, Missouri. On Feb. 13, 1817 he married Lucy Ingram Alexander, who was born Aug. 11, 1801 and died Sept. 21, 1832 in Lewis county, Missouri. They had 9 children: Nancy Gatewood, John Martin Alexander, Edaline Hardin, Joseph Henry, Phillip Frazier, Susan Ann, Louisa Elizabeth, Reuben Miller and Phillip Thomas Wash.
Lucy Wash, his wife, died Sept. 21, 1832 in Lewis county, Missouri. On Jan. 6, 1833 he married Sarah Ann Hodge in Marian county, Missouri. They had four sons: Nathan Robert Hodge Wash, William Morrison Jerome Wash, David Campbell Sandridge Wash and George Archibald Fields Wash.
