Alice Waters (born Getland) was born in 1592, in Eastcote, Northamptonshire, England, United Kingdom. Alice was baptized on December 27 1593, in Rotherfield, East Sussex, England, United Kingdom. [This is EXTREMELY inconsistent - Sussex is on the Channel coast, and Northamptonshire is in the middle of the country!] Alice married John Waters on September 1 1606, at age 14 in All Saints, Hastings, Sussex, England. John was born on November 22 1590, in Eastcote, Northamptonshire, England, United Kingdom. They had one son: Samuel Waters. Alice passed away circa 1626, at age 34 in Eastcott, Northampton, England. She was buried in England.

Who this John Waters was (and if his name was really John Waters), his dates and places of birth and death, and his relationship, if any, to other Waters families, are all unknown. He has been identified with the John Waters who married Alice Getlande, but this is doubtful and unsupported.

This needs to be removed from Anne Terrill's tree. Zero evidence cited.

Unfortunately the linkage to James Waters and Phoebe Manning is highly suspect. His birth date precedes any of the cited marriage dates for James Waters and Phebe Manning (1592, 1595, 1608). And at that time James Waters would have been a mere thirteen - possible, but not likely.
