John Charles Whitaker, I

John Whitaker is believed to have been an indentured servant arriving in Virginia about 1690

1694 surveyed 74 acres, Whitaker's Purchase, in Oct 1696 he pat. Whitaker's and in Dec 1697 he bought 150 acres Whitaker's Ridge from Robert and Sarah Love.

Will dated Nov 9, 1713 - Dec 26 1713 left 250 acres, Whitaker's Ridge to sons John and Charles, rights to Enlargement to sons Peter and Abraham. 150 acres Whitaker's Ridge to son Isaac and unborn children. named admin; wife Elizabeth and daughters Elizabeth, Sarah, and Hannah. admin bond posted Jan 14, 1714 by John Whitaker with Thomas Preston and William Bond. Estate was inventoried by Thomas Bond and William Howard on Jan 26, 1713 and valued at 99.3.3 pounds. With Daniel and Elizabeth Scott as kin; estate was admin on March 16, 1713

Possibly there is a relationship with Aaron Whitaker of Baltimore but there is no proof as of May 2014
