It is believe that Moses Williamson, Sr. fought with other Virginia Frontiersmen at teh Battle of Point Pleasant in 1777 against the Indians to put an end to the sassacring of white settlers in the area. Ther Virginians were directed by Lord Dunmore, the Virginia Governor. The battle of Point Pleasant was part of the so-called Dunmore's war. Moses also fought in the Revolutionary War. Jane was related to a John Williams who fought in the latter war also.
