John Winslow was born in 1701 in Harwich, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, a son of Kenelm and Damaris (Eames) Winslow; he married Bethiah Andrews on March 15, 1721 in Rochester, Plymouth County, Massachusetts; he died in 1755 in Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.

Note: John's death occurred the year of what was known as the French and Indian War and it also coincided with several outbreaks of smallpox. What happened to him has not been learned, and there is no known gravesite for him.

DEATH: Will dated January 11, 1751/52, Will proved July 16, 1755. He mentions his wife Bethiah and his children, John, Jedediah, Nathaniel, Lemuel, Prince, Deborah Sherman, and Elizabeth.[1]

His inventory was taken on 12 July 1755 in Rochester. [2]

John and Bethiah (Andrews) Winslow had the following children:
