John Zynda was baptized circa 1813 at Koscierzyna, Koscierzyna, Gdansk, West Prussia. He was born circa 1813 at Skorzewo, Koscierzyna, Gdansk, West Prussia. He married Clara Szyszka on 16 May 1837 at Koscierzyna, Koscierzyna, Gdansk, West Prussia. John and Clara emigrated in 1858 aboard the Atlantic having departed from Bremen, Germany. Also listed on the passenger list was, Joanne, Marianne, Elizabeth, Clara, John and Joseph. The ship arrived at the Port of New York on 9 Aug 1858. John Zynda died on 28 August 1895 at Portage Co, WI. He was buried on 30 August 1895 at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Polonia, Portage Co, WI.
