JOHN DE Peyton, son of Nigel, had several sons, two of whom were named John: for John de Peyton sold by deed, without date, to his eldest brother John (Johanni de Peyton frairi nieo primogenito) his lands in Boxford and Stoke Ncyland, of the fee of St. Edmunds, which formerly belonged to their lather John de Peyton and their uncle William.
