Obituary: Mrs. Guy Gardner

Russellville - Mrs. Guy Gardner, 86, of Russellville, the former Forrest Ellis, died in Russellville Monday. Born June 26, 1889, in Hindsville, the daughter of Dr. Edward Forrest and Mable Amanda Stafford Ellis, she was a former officer of the Arkansas Education Association. A Presbyterian, she held membership in several educational associations, the PEO Sisterhood, Chio Omega Sorority, and the Daughters of the American Colonists.

She is survived by a son, Dr. Ellis Gardner of Russellville, two half-sisters, Dr. Ruth Lesh and Miss Elizabeth Ellis, both of Fayetteville; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a niece, Lt. Col. Mary C. Ellis of San Antonio, Texas.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the Russellville Presbyterian Church with burial at Russellville under direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
