Jonas Kamelgaren was born in Lodz, Poland in 1912 to Daniel and Rakhel. He was a tinsmith and married to Tova nee Levkovitz. Prior to WWII he lived in Lodz, Poland. During the war he was in Lodz, Poland. Jonas was murdered/perished in 1944 in Auschwitz, Poland. This information is based on a Page of Testimony submitted to Yad Vashem by his brother-in-law, Eliahu Levkowitz.
