You might want to check the claim that James' son was Phineas as that name was commonly used in the family of Thomas Fitz Randolph and Elizabeth Manning not the lineage of Joseph Fitz Randolph and Johanna Conger of which the James in this profile are the grandparents.

There are several James Fitz Randolphs in the generation to which this James belongs including the James who married Mary Moore. He was descended from Thomas and Elizabeth not through Joseph and Johanna. The James of this profile disappears from Middlesex County, N.J. probably prior to his father's(Jonathan 1702-1766) death as the probate record for his father's estate is assigned to Benajah Daniels, husband of James' sister Susannah.
