Jonathan Locke was born December 22, 1705, the son of Nathaniel Locke and Dorothy Blake of Hampton, Rockingham, NH[
... he married Mary or Sarah Norton, in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. Their children included:
1.Samuel Locke, born 1725-1732, who married Lucy Bill
2.Jonathan Locke, born 1726-1731, who married Abigail Perry and settled on Locke's Island in the Ragged Islands, Nova Scotia. The community he founded is now called Lockeport
"It is said" he was killed by falling down a bank on the way home, having been to see Francis Locke's wife. The Rye, New Hampshire History lists one child Jonathan born about 1726.
According to secondary sources, Jonathan died circa October 1731 on Rhode Island.
