My name is Jordan Odessa Henry- Jones
I was born and raised in Columbus Ohio. My Mother's side of the family (Henry/Naughten/Petersen/ Brunstoff) hail from Frederiksted St. Croix US Virgin Islands and my Father's side (Jones/ Hudley/ Haith) hail from Greensboro, North Carolina.
My Grandma Jane Naughten Henry, moved her immediate family (Vickie, Vera, Virginia, Velletta, Virgil) from St. Croix to New York (Bronx) in 1970. To my understanding she was pregnant with Virgil so he was born in New York.
My Grandma Helen Haith Hudley moved from Greensboro to Pittsburgh with her son (my father) Guy Jones, and her mother (Odessa Haith) where she married Alphonzo Hudley and had my Uncle Alphonso Hudley.
My Father (Guy Jones) moved to Columbus Ohio to get his Masters Degree in African American Studies and my Mother moved to Columbus Ohio just because. They have 2 children; myself and my brother (Cole Dunham Henry Jones).
