About Jose Vicente Companioni
He was a priest. He aspired to be the director of education for the publis school in Sancti-Spiritus, Cua. He was authorized to teach on February 28, 1806. On April 16, he was given the directorship of the school, endowed with 300 pesos from the Hospice and 100 pesos from City Hall. The school was located in cells of Jesus Nazareno.
