Josef Wolf Feiler

The children of Josef and Lotte Feiler and their families with the exception of AloisFischbein were all killed in the Auschwitz concentration camp. Alois Fischbein worked in the underground during World War II in Poland. He was involved in the heroic efforts to aid Polish and Czech Jews to escape from Hitler's armies. He lived in Poland, then Russia, emigrating to Israel, where he died in 1977. Bertha and Bernhard Katz came to New York from Austria in the 1890s.
