Joseph T. Avery, aged 90 years, of Route No. 1, Custer, and a resident of Whatcom County for the past forty years, passed away at a local hospital, Monday, January 25, after a long illness. He leaves to survive, a sister, Mrs. Nellie E. Neff, of Withee, Wis.; one nephew, J. W. Clark of Route No. 1, Custer. The body rests at the Homer Mark Mortuary, from where funeral services will be held in the Cathedral Chapel, Wednesday, January 27, at 1 p.m., followed by cremation.
