Bauba, 77, of Oakville, were held 11 am Saturday, November 10, in the O'Neill Funeral Home of Oakville, with the Reverend Waldo Landquist of Union Congregational Church, officiating. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery in Thomaston. Mr Bauba died Thursday, November 8, at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury. He was the husband of Madeline (Grant) Bauba. Mr Bauba was born in Bethlehem, March 31, 1913, son of the late Bernard and Gertrude Bauba. He was educated in Bethlehem and lived in Oakville for several years. He worked for 35 years as a foreman for the former Chase Brass and Copper Company of Waterbury. Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Patricia Teichert of Laconia, N.H., and Judith Morse of Waterbury; one brother, Anthony J. Bauba of Waterbury; two sisters-in-law; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Town Times - November 15, 1990 |
