Biography

Joseph Borden was born on12 November 1669 in Providence, Rhode Island Colony, the son of Thomas Borden and Mary (Harris) Borden. [1] He was the brother of Dinah (Borden) Fenner.

Josepy married Margaret Whipple on 17 September 1712 in Providence, Rhode Island Colony. They had one child, Joseph Borden. [2]

Joseph drowned in the Woonasquatucket River in 1713. His body was found in the river on 30 December 1713. [3] His wife, Margaret, was made guardian of his son. She later married Peter Barnes.
