I was captured in Harrismith District in FEB 1902. I signed the Declaration in India. I cannot remember the date. I am not a landowner. I do not expect any when ... I possess at present ... From £400 there is nothing owing to me. I have no other claim than the present. I have received in consideration against same Form a six horses in Claim were used on Commando. There is no ... in Claim. I ... nothing in ... his form horses were taken from me when I surrendered. No money in claim ... a stolen from me. All was my own lawful property before the War ... half of the sheep which belonged to my son. He was 24 years of age when he was killed during the War.

I ... Annexure A. ... all the cattle, horses, sheep, ... before the War. I required nothing during the War. The wagon I bought eight years ago at the ... The cart I got from my brother about a year before the War. All the furniture etc. I had before the War. None now nothing ... goods claimed for. I lost all during the War. On the 14th MAY 1901 34 cattle, 680 sheep, 200 goats taken by the troops. I saw them taken from ... of about 300 or 4000 ... as soon as the camps left. I was at the house and saw that this about had all been taken at the same time all the furniture etc.
