JOSEPH FRANKLIN BRUMFIELD

JOSEPH FRANKLIN BRUMFIELD, 67, of Huntington, died Saturday, July 30, 2005, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington. He was born Sept. 18, 1937, in Glenwood, W.Va., to the late Manford Franklin Brumfield and Sarah Repha (Edmonds) Brumfield. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, three brothers, and an infant brother. Joe was a former employee of the A.C.F. Company in Huntington and attended the Freewill Baptist Church in Huntington. He is survived by his wife Bradys Patricia Ferguson Brumfield of Huntington; a daughter, Sherry; two sons, Terry and Joseph, Jr.; a brother, Harley and a sister, Jean Spence; several step children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with the Rev. Harvey Langdon officiating, burial will follow in the Pete Meadows Cemetery in Glenwood. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
