John (Iain Eoghain) settled on a part of his father’s estate, and married Ann, daughter of Angus Gillis (Hugh), Christmas Island, Issue:Hugh, Michael, Michael J., John, Alex, Angus, Peter, and James.

Hugh taught school for more than 20 years. He settled at Benacadie and became the Postmaster of the place. He is also a Justice of the Peace, and he keeps a general store and the telegraph office. He married Sarah, daughter of Stephen McInnis, Shenacadie. Issue: — Joseph, Stephen, Mary Ann, Angus, John Rory, Gregory, and Roderick.

Joseph H. went overseas and fought in the Great War. When the war was over, he came home and married Mary, daughter of Rory H. McNeil, Castle Bay. He is underground manager in the coal mine at Florence.
