Son of Joseph Fitz Randolph II 1691-1793 & Rebecca Drake 1697-1749.
Joseph's parents, had 14 children and he was the third oldest son.

He married Ester Broderick, in 1740, daughter of Thomas Broderick and Mary Smalley. They were parents to eleven children:
Samuel 1741-1811, m. Sarah Ann Drake and Rachel Stelle.
Sophia "Zeruiah" 1743-1822, m. 1) John Manning son of Isaac Manning & Catherine Clarkson m. 2) Benjamin Laing.

Named are: wife Ester (Easter), sons: Samuel, Ephraim, Joseph, John, Jacob, Daniel & Robert and daughters; Ester (Easter), and Zeruich (Zeruiah) Manning. Executors: sons, Samuel, Ephraim and Joseph Fitz Randolph. Lib 24 Pg. 56.
