22 Nov 1800 Royal Admiral to Sydney Cove (life sentence for highway robbery)
Sentenced to transportation for life for highway robbery.Assigned to John Macarthur at Parrammatta.Became his overseer.He had been a School Master in Ireland. After he received his ticket of leave he was appointed Master of the Public Charity School in Sydney and later on School Master at Windsor. He received his Free Pardon on 31 January 1815.
He did well after arriving in Sydney and in 1807 he was the Town Clerk at Paramatta NSW and on the 8.11.1820 we find him being the School Master at the Government School.
